Three men on a motorcycle held the man at gunpoint and took his money away.
SUKKUR:
A man and a woman were mugged in two separate incidents in Mirpur Mathelo and Jarwar on Monday. According to sources, the first incident took place on City Road, Mirpur Mathelo, where Saifal Naich, a resident of Irrigation Colony, went to a bank and left with Rs300,000. Three men on a motorcycle held him at gunpoint and took his money away. Since the bank was located in a busy market area, it was easy for the robbers to steal the money and escape. The second incident took place in Jarwar Town when an elderly woman’s gold jewellery was stolen. Eighty-year-old Vilki Bai had gone to the Bhagat Kunwar Ram Janam Bhoomi temple where three men stopped her outside the temple and snatched her gold chain, earrings and a ring.
