Re-poll in Kalat on March 10
Seven stations to vote under security plan

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially set March 10 as the date for re-polling at seven polling stations in the PB-36 Kalat constituency of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, bringing clarity to a process that had been stalled due to security considerations.
The re-polling, originally postponed on the request of the Balochistan government citing deteriorating law-and-order conditions, will now take place from 8 am to 5 pm without interruption, giving voters the fullest possible opportunity to cast their ballots.
In a notification issued Thursday, the ECP confirmed the seven affected polling stations as follows: Government High School Johan (Combined), Civil Dispensary Johan (Male), Government Girls High School Johan (Female), Middle School Takht (Combined), relocated to Boys High School Johan, Improvised Polling Booth Takhat (Combined), relocated to Boys High School Johan, Government High School Gazg (Combined), relocated to Girls High School Johan, Civil Dispensary Gazg (Combined), relocated to Girls High School Johan.
To ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the exercise, the Commission has already appointed key election officials: Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmed Durrani as District Returning Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Kalat Shahnawaz Baloch as Returning Officer, and Assistant Commissioner Khaliqabad, Ali Gul Umrani as Assistant Returning Officer.
