Best wishes: MUET congratulates new VC of SAU

MUET VC said that five public sector varsities in Sindh are currently headed by former MUET professors.

HYDERABAD: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) and its teachers association congratulated Prof Dr Mujeebuddin Sahrai on becoming the vice-chancellor (VC) of Sindh Agriculture University. While felicitating Sahrai, MUET VC Prof Dr Aslam Uqaili said that five public sector varsities in Sindh are currently headed by former MUET professors. These include Sindh Madarsatul Islam, University of Karachi, Daud Engineering University, Quaid-e-Awam Engineering University Benazirabad and Sindh Agriculture University, he said. Before his appointment, Sahrai served as MUET director for Continuing Education, Research, Innovation and Commercialisation.
