Agricultural growth: Strategy finalised on milk collection, solar tube wells

Vice Chancellor Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Tarar said the plan would help in rural development and agricultural growth.

FAISALABAD: The government has finalised a strategy to improve the system of collecting milk and running tube wells on solar power with the help of cooperative societies, said Cooperatives Department Secretary Babar Hayat Tarar on Friday.

Speaking to University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, (UAF) Vice Chancellor Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Tarar said the plan would help in rural development and agricultural growth.

He said the government had started replacing tube wells on the national gird with those running on solar power.
