BANNU:
The district government imposed Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on Thursday, banning the display of weapons, public gatherings and aerial firing. A statement issued from the district administration’s office stated that Commissioner Syed Mohsin Shah imposed Section 144 in the district for 30 days. Police were informed to tighten security around the district and arrest violators under Section 188 of PPC.
