FC camp attacked in Balochistan: 1 person killed
Assailants opened fire, carried out rockets attacks and threw hand grenades at the FC camp.

An owner of a roadside hotel was killed in an attack that targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) camp in Oshab, which is located near Turbat in Kech district of Balochistan.
According to Turbat police, unidentified men opened fire at the FC camp. The armed men also attacked the camp with rockets and hand grenades. One of the rockets hit a roadside hotel and as a result Mohammed Hussain, the hotel’s owner, died on the spot.
The attackers fled from the scene after FC personnel carried out retaliatory firing. There were reports of casualties either from the FC side or that of the militants but it was not confirmed till filing of this report.
Security forces have launched a search operation in the area. Kech is one of the highly sensitive areas in Balochistan where Baloch militants often target security forces.
