Poll body to scrutinise NA-68 results
In a bid to dispel Imran Khan’s fears of rigging in NA-68, poll supervisory body has summoned records of the results.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to scrutinise the election results of a National Assembly constituency from where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif contested last year’s general elections, officials said on Tuesday.
In a bid to dispel Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s fears of large-scale rigging in a Sargodha constituency (NA-68), the poll supervisory body has summoned records of the results.
The PTI chief is leading a campaign against alleged rigging in the general elections.
Imran had claimed that in one polling station of NA-68, more than 10,000 votes were polled for Nawaz while the total number of registered voters for that polling stations were not more than 1,500.
NA-68 was one of the multiple constituencies from where Nawaz had contested and won with a big margin. According to an ECP official, it was not possible that this number of votes could have been polled in the constituency.
