Unidentified militants kidnapped a resident of Khyber Agency on Tuesday from Shah Zaman village, Jamrud. According to khasadar line officer Tehsinullah, Tamash, a trader and resident of Sur Kamar Torkhiel, was heading to Jamrud in a passenger van when unidentified militants intercepted the vehicle and took him away at gunpoint. Following this, the political administration set up checkpoints in the area and conducted several raids, but Tamash had not been found till the filing of this report. No one has claimed responsibility.
