RAWALPINDI:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench on Monday issued a notice to the Ministry of Health in an alleged violation in the appointment against the post of a pharmacist at Pims.

The petitioner Hayyat Ullah Khan has challenged an appointment of a pharmacist at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).

The petitioner through his legal counsel Shoaib Shaheen told the court that he also applied for the post according to the advertisement for the scale 17 Post.

Despite having a requirement of a Pharmacy degree with two years of relevant experience, Pims appointed a person who was not eligible for the post according to the advertisement given in the newspaper.

The petitioner lawyer further told the court that the selected candidate Mustafa Khan had less experience than was required.

The petitioner also filed an application for nominating the Ministry of Health as respondent.
