KESC romp to 6-1 win over SSGC
Title-defenders KRL draw in football league.
KARACHI:
Karachi Electricity Supply Corporation (KESC) defeated Sui Southern Gas Corporation (SSGC) 6-1 as Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) drew with Pakistan Elecktron Limited (Pel) 1-1 in the Pakistan Premier League (PPL) yesterday.
KESC’s Muhammad Rasool scored the opening goal in the 31st minute. Essa Khan scored to give KESC a 2-1 lead at the interval. Khan added goals two more goals, while Muhammad Riaz and Abdul Rehman extended KESC’s lead in the 55th and 67th minutes to seal the win.
Meanwhile, Abid Ghafoor scored the first goal against Pel, which was equalised by Muzzafar Ali.
In other matches, Pakistan Navy beat PMC Athletico 1-0 and National Bank of Pakistan drew against Habib Bank Limited 0-0.
