Travel comforts: Lahore-Pindi trains to have business class coaches’
Official said the business community had long been calling for proving a luxurious rail service on the route.

The Pakistan Railways (PR) has decided to add air-conditioned (AC) business class coaches to the rail service between Lahore and Rawapindi, The Express Tribune has learnt. The new coaches would be added from May 25, a PR official said.
“An AC coach with sitting/berth capacity of 54 persons will be added to each Up and Down train to add luxury to the three-hour journey,” the official said. He said the fare had not been decided but it would be affordable. He said the business community had long been calling for proving a luxurious rail service on the route.
