D Chowk rally: Imran thanks polio victim’s participation

Imran says victim's participation shows that our youth is highly concerned about the future of the country.

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan greeted Sardar Ali, a young polio victim from Battagram, at his residence and thanked him for raising voice against electoral rigging in the 2013 election.

Acknowledging the courage and resolve of Ali about democracy and future of the country, Imran said that his participation in the massive rally shows that our youth is highly concerned about the future of the country.


He went on to say that an ordinary person can never feel about the intensity of pain and hardships, a polio victim has to bear with. “We reiterate our commitment of eradiating polio from our land,” said the PTI chairman, adding that the future of Pakistan should be guarded properly against this very distressing syndrome.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa health minister later announced to include Ali into the anti-polio campaign the province.
