The Rangers allegedly killed a suspected criminal in Malir on Tuesday. According to Al-Falah police, a Rangers team signalled a car to stop during snap-checks but the driver sped up and opened fire.
The suspect was injured in the exchange and was taken to Jinnah hospital, where he died.
He was identified as Shahid, 28, and was a member of the outlawed Aman Committee.
