Health Care Initiative: Free medical camp set up at Mathra
Patients who could not afford treatment in private clinics were also provided free medicines.
PESHAWAR:
The Insaf Student Federation (ISF) set up a free medical camp at Mathra, on the outskirts of the provincial capital. At least 1,500 patients were treated by doctors, says a statement issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) media cell on Tuesday. The dispatch stated MPA Mehmood Jan and ISF provincial president Sohail Afridi visited the camp and lauded the efforts of ISF members. Patients who could not afford treatment in private clinics were also provided free medicines. “ISF plans to hold such medical camps in other parts of the province where people will be provided free medical check-ups and medicines,” the statement quoted Afridi as saying.
