IED blast: Safi aman lashkar leader’s nephew killed
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mohmand Agency claimed responsibility.

Safi peace committee leader Subidar Safi’s nephew Jahangir Khan died in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Safi, Mohmand Agency on Tuesday.
An official of the political administration confirmed Jahangir’s death and said he was driving through Safi in his car when it was targeted by an IED.
He added Jahangir was seriously wounded and shifted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
His driver was also injured in the explosion. Jahangir was the owner of marble factories in Shabqadar and the nephew of Safi peace committee leader, Subidar Safi.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mohmand Agency claimed responsibility for the attack in a tweet by their spokesperson Omar Khorasani. A search operation was launched and 20 suspects were arrested.
