Police arrest Taliban leader from Karachi
KARACHI:
Police arrested key Taliban leader, Mian Gul Saeed belonging to Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan from Karachi on Thursday.
The leader had earlier managed to escape capture when the Pakistan army launched an operation in Swat to flush the area of militants.
Police says Mian Gul has confessed to attacking the Pakistan army and blowing up a bridge in the town of Kharraray.
Gul who is affiliated to Militant leader Fazalullah's group in Matta was also involved in the manslaughter of five people.
