Cracking down: Three suspects arrested in operation
The arrested include a prayer leader.

Security forces backed by police launched a midnight search operation in Bela Mohmandan area on Saturday and arrested three suspects. Locals said security forces surrounded the entire locality around midnight and imposed a curfew, initiating a door-to-door search operation in which three people, including a prayer leader, were arrested. “This prayer leader has been arrested for the second time,” said an official, adding the operation ended around 9am and people were subsequently allowed to come out of their houses. Bela Mohmandan union council is part of Peshawar district, but presently comes under the jurisdiction of Charasadda police.
