Taken away: Comments sought in missing cop case

An additional district and sessions judge on Friday sought comments from Sabzazar SHO on a petition filed by a stage dancer seeking a case against five men who she accused of abducting her husband.
Petitioner Salomi Rana said her husband Shafqat, a policeman, had been missing since February 25 when he had gone for security duty at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s house in Raiwind. She told the court she believed Malik Muhammad Sharif, Husnain, Ali, Malik Azhat and Arif had abducted him. She asked the court to direct the SHO to register a case against the suspects.
