Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has a strong desire to undertake pilgrimage.
The actor is known to have a very clear understanding of Islam, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the religion, in fact, when he speaks on the subject, one tends to listen intently and wishes to hang onto every word.
In a conversation he was asked why he hadn’t gone for Hajj yet and as a response to that Shahrukh explained that Hajj is definitely on his agenda, but he did not specify exactly when he would travel to Mecca. “I would like to go there with my son Aryan and daughter Suhana,” he said.
One knows that girls cannot go for Hajj unless they are accompanied by their father, brother, son or husband. In Suhana’s case, Shahrukh has decided to wait till his daughter is ready to accompany him, reported Times of India.
In 2012, actor Aamir Khan kept his promise to his mother Zeenat and took her for Hajj.
