Fake certificates: Four ex-PMDC employees detained
Four ex-PMDC employees arrested for alleged involvement in issuing fake certificates to non-qualified doctors.
ISLAMABAD:
Police have arrested four ex-employees of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) for their alleged involvement in issuing fake certificates to non-qualified doctors. The police took them into custody after a special court rejected their pre-arrest bail. The fake certificates were issued to non-qualified doctors allegedly by Mazhar Mehmood, Mehmood-ud din, Arif-ur Rehman and Muhammad Irfan Ahmad between 2007 and 2010. Two alleged accused, Aftab Mehmood and Waseem Akram, are still at large.
