Road accident: One killed, four injured in Maachar

A man was killed and four others were injured when a car skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in Maachar on Wednesday evening.

A man was killed and four others were injured when a car skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in Maachar on Wednesday evening.
An official of Alpuri police said a car carrying five men en route from Alpuri to Poran skidded off the road when it reached Maachar around 7:30pm. It was drizzling at that time.
The official said Buland Iqbal, Ihsanullah, Sarwar, Fazal Rab and Nasim were injured in the accident. He said police officials pulled out all the injured men from the ditch with the help of residents and shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital but Iqbal succumbed to his injuries on the way.
