Violent Crime: Man kills wife, commits suicide

FAISALABAD: A man committed suicide after killing his wife on Monday in the Raza Abad area. Police said Dr Shafqat Usman, 50, resident of Madan Pura Street 4 suspected his wife Shaghufta Parveen, 47, of infidelity. They said he and his wife had a heated argument, and he strangled her and then hanged himself from a ceiling fan. Police have taken the bodies to a mortuary for post-mortem. The couple had two daughters and a son. No case has been registered as yet.
