On The Run: Escaped prisoner arrested a year later
The suspect is in the custody of Kamoke Cantt police.

The Baghbanpura police on Tuesday arrested a suspect who had escaped from court premises during a hearing a year ago. The suspect had been in the custody of Kamoke Cantt police. Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Ghoray Shah Chowk, was being tried for robbery case. He had been arrested by the Cantt police and was taken to Gujranwala for hearing. Baghbanpura SHO Mohsin Majeed Jathol set up a check post on Ghoray Shah Road. The police tried to stop the suspect who was on a motorcycle. He shot at the police and there was an exchange of fire before the police managed to arrest him and recovered a pistol from him.
