Land use: LDA sells 11 plots for Rs47 million

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday auctioned 11 plots – 10 commercial and one residential plot – for Rs47 million. Twenty-two commercial plots in Johar Town, Sabzazar, Jubilee Town and Gujjar Pura and seven residential plots in Sabzazar and Jubilee Town were offered for auction at the LDA Community Centre.
Twenty-eight parties took part in the bidding. The maximum bid of Rs4.12 million was offered for the 50 square metres commercial plot 402 Block R-2 Johar Town. Its base price had been fixed at Rs1.32 million a marla but it fetched Rs1.72 million a marla. LDA Finance Director Zaheer Asghar Rana, Estate Management Directors Akbar Nakai, Usman Ghani and Nadim Abbas Bhangu and other officials supervised the auction.
