Remittances : NBP organises mela in Bewal
The bank is committed to carry its mantle as one of the nation’s most widespread banks.
KARACHI:
In a bid to continue work on home remittance business, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) recently organised a remittance mela at Bewal, Teh Gujar Khan, south east of Rawalpindi. The area is home to a large number of people with Kashmiri descent. The purpose of the event was to market, mobilise and create awareness about this national cause and to discourage the use of illegal channels. The bank is committed to carry its mantle as one of the nation’s most widespread banks. This is mostly attributed to its extensive branch network catering to customers in urban, rural and remote areas of the country.
