Inhalation of toxic fumes: Death toll rises to 10 in DI Khan
Case registered against owner and management of Chashma Sugar Mill, relatives of victims attack mill.

Death toll from inhalation of toxic fumes from a sugar mill in Dera Ismail Khan rose to ten, Express News reported on Saturday.
On May 2, people crossing water channel that flows from Chashma Sugar Mill located in Ramak village of Tehsil Parowa towards Indus River passing through DI Khan, had fallen unconscious after inhaling toxic fumes from the water. Eight people, including women and children, were killed.
Today, relatives of the victims broke down the gate of the sugar mill, pelted it with stones and set a plant on fire.
Police used tear gas to disperse the protesters and several people were injured during the clash.
A gas cylinder also exploded during the protest but no casualties were reported till the filing of this report.
