KARACHI:
A lawyer and his driver were shot dead in Karachi's Orangi Town on Saturday, Express News reported.
Member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)'s Rabita Committee Saif Yar Khan told the media that the driver was a party worker.
The worker, identified as Noman Shah, was shot six times while the lawyer, identified as Mohammad Idris, was shot four times. Idris was an MQM supporter, the Rabita committee member stated.
Khan also requested that the chief minister of Sindh and the governor of Sindh should take immediate notice of the attack.
He further stated that members of the MQM were being targeted continously, adding that MQM's back was being pushed against the wall.
@bash gul..was the charged against Nadir proved?
@bash gul: With this belief, anybody who has a criminal record can be murdered. Lets begin with the parliamentarians. But I am sure, this selective belief is restricted to MQM.
I sympathize with and condole the death of Mohammed Idrees. But Nadir Shah has a criminal record. Previously he has been charged for smuggling weapons and murders. So MQM don't make it a political issue and shut down Karachi. And as we heard on the news channel the target was Nadir Shah.
