A woman was looted and two cars were stolen in separate incidents in the limits of Cantt Police Station during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Haq Nawaz lodged a report with the local police that two armed motorcyclists intercepted his wife on Bank Road and snatched her handbag, containing Rs35,000 cash, a mobile phone, documents and two cheques worth Rs6,200.


Meanwhile, Khalid Mehmood lodged a complaint with the local police that auto-thieves have stolen his Toyota Corolla (RIT-3458) from outside a shop on Adamjee Road.


Likewise, Ali reported to the police that his Suzuki Mehran (IDN-7644) had been stolen from Kashmir Road. The police registered separate cases against the culprits.
