KARACHI: Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh Nadia Gabol said that labour is the economical backbone of a developed country and without their participation progress, development and prosperity would be impossible. She said this in a statement to mark the International Labour Day. She paid tribute to the workers who lost their lives during duty in factories, mills and other places due to any mishaps. Gobal said that the Labour Day is being observed internationally to express solidarity with the labour and to remind them that they are not alone in any circumstances. She said that the condition of labour in Pakistan is not good now but they are being respected from every section of the society. Third world countries experience a fruitful struggle in every walk of life due to the uncounted struggle of workers, according to Gabol.
