A woman was gunned down while she was sleeping in her house in Larkana on Wednesday.
Naseem, 25, wife of Akhtar Mugheri, was asleep when armed men barged into her house and killed her.
Her minor son was injured in the incident. The body and the injured were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana.
According to the medico-legal officer, the boy is out of danger. Naseem's husband told the police that a raid was conducted a day ago on a notorious gambling den in Mir Shah Village and the gamblers suspected that the raid was a result of information provided by the husband, according to SHO Manzoor Korai. The police have yet to register the case.
