Navy officer’s driver shot dead in DHA Karachi
Four assailants on two motorcycles shot at the driver when the car had stopped at a traffic light.

The driver of a Navy officer was shot dead near the DHA library in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of Karachi, Express News reported.
Four assailants on two motorcycles shot at the driver when the car had stopped at a traffic light. The driver suffered five to six bullet wounds, making police officials suspect the incident was a targeted attack.
It is not clear, however, if the driver was the intended target of the attack or the Navy officer.
The body of the deceased, who was identified as Fayyaz Ali, had been transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). Police is investigating the incident.
