Martyrs’ Day: Zardari pays tributes to martyrs
The nation cannot adequately repay the debt of gratitude it owes to the martyrs.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Tuesday that the nation acknowledges the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces.
Paying tributes to those who have sacrificed their lives on the eve of ‘Martyrs’ Day’, he said in a statement that ‘the nation lives because of its heroes who are willing and ready to die for the country’.
He said the nation cannot adequately repay the debt of gratitude it owes to the martyrs.
He also eulogised the sacrifices rendered by the defence and law enforcing personnel in the fight against militancy and expressed his confidence of the triumph of the good over evil.
Zardari stated that as long as the resolve exists in the defense forces to fight enemies and there is an urge for getting the highest respect of being a martyr.
