Speeding: Bike rider killed in accident
The police have taken the driver into custody and investigations are under way.
RAWALPINDI:
A bike rider was killed in a road accident at General Post Office Chowk Saddar.
Khurram Shahzad was on his way home on his motorcycle on Monday night when a speeding Toyota Hiace (LES-7792) hit him. He was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital where he died of multiple injuries.
The police have taken the driver into custody and investigations are under way.
Meanwhile, Major Tasawur Farooq complained to the same police that unidentified thieves have stolen Rs25,000 cash, a mobile phone and some important documents from his car. The police have registered a case, said an official.
