Nine-year-old girl is allegedly raped by her sister’s husband in Rahuja village.

A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her sister’s husband in Rahuja village on Saturday within the jurisdiction of Site police station.
According to the victim’s father, T was alone in the house and the rest of the family was visiting their next-door neighbours. While T was asleep, the accused H came into the house and raped her.
T’s mother and other family members rushed into the house when they heard T scream. They caught the accused red-handed but his uncles came into the house and helped H flee, said T’s father.
SHO Site police Munsif Shah told The Express Tribune that the victim was taken to the police station. “We issued a letter for a medical check-up from Civil Hospital, Sukkur,” he said. No one from the family has come to lodge an FIR, he added.
T’s father took her to the hospital after getting a letter from the station. The female doctor at Civil hospital conducted her checkup and prescribed some medicines. A medical report will be sent to the police station when it is complete, he said.
