New purchase: First batch of F-16 arrive from Jordan
Pakistan signs contract with Jordan under which 13 F-16 jets will be delivered to Pakistan.

Pakistan received its first batch of five F-16 fighter jets from Jordan on Sunday. Pakistan has signed a contract with Jordan under which 13 F-16 jets will be delivered to Pakistan. The first batch was delivered at the PAF Base Mushaf in Sargodha. Speaking at the occasion Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is fully prepared for an operation against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), reported Express News. He added that the fighter jets were in good condition, and that the air force is fully equipped to combat militants.
