Bright bold colours

Orange being established the colour of the season; strong colours such as bright yellows, hot pinks and blue tones are also wardrobe must-haves, as observed in the fashion weeks. There were also plenty of neutral tones to wear back with these stronger tones, such as light tan and chalky nudes.

Monochrome

Black and white never gets old and the combination sure stood out ay fashion weeks world over. There were many styles of shoes offered in this striking colour combination.

Mules are shoes characterized by their exposed heel and this season they are everywhere. Backless shoes are a trend everyone can rock, as they come in a myriad of heights. Besides that, a variety of styles were on display from chunky block heeled flats to strappy sandals and mid-height heels with ankle straps.

Hot hardware and chic leather

Buckles, metal hardware and leather have been a strong feature in all the upcoming collections for Spring/Summer 2014. Leather finishes include embossed, two-tone woven leathers, reptile skin looks, matte finish leathers, metallic tones and mixed leathers.
