Bootleggers clash: Two Pakistanis killed in Sharjah

Deceased workers, aged 25 and 33, died on the spot.

ISLAMABAD:
Two Pakistani nationals were killed in a clash between bootleggers’ groups in the Al Sajja Industrial Area of Sharjah, Khaleej Times reported on Saturday. The deceased, identified only as workers aged 25 and 33 years old, died instantly after being assaulted with both blunt and sharp implements. Five others were seriously injured in the clash. Police reached the scene after receiving a call about the clash from other workers. The injured were shifted to Al Kuwaiti and Al Qasimi hospitals and the bodies of the deceased were taken to the police’s forensic laboratory for investigation. According to police officials, the two bootleggers’ gangs were fighting over territory for their operations.
