Man throws acid on girl on refusal of marriage proposal.
BAHAWALPUR:
A man threw acid on a woman in Samasata on Saturday after her family refused his proposal for marriage, police said. They said a man, identified as Afzal, had sent a marriage proposal for Saima*. They said her family had turned down the proposal. On Saturday Afzal and another man went to Samina’s home and threw acid on her. She was hospitalised with burns. Police had arrested the men.
