Property dispute: Clash between 2 tribes in North Waziristan leaves 7 dead
Firing, missiles and rocket attacks were carried out during the clash in which 3 others were injured.
NORTH WAZIRISTAN:
A clash between two tribes in North Waziristan over a property dispute left at least seven people dead, Express News reported on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Datta Khel district and three other people were injured in the clash.
Firing, missiles and rocket attacks were carried out during the conflict.
Previous incidents
On April 23, two men were killed and at least five others injured in a clash between two groups near Bhara Kahu. All the dead and injured belonged to the same group from Athal, a village located around eight kilometres east of Bhara Kahu. They were allegedly shot at by a rival group after things went sour during negotiations over a property dispute.
On April 4, seven persons including a woman were killed and three others injured in Nasim Akbar Sheikhan area of Bannu in a shootout over a property dispute.
