Denied rights : ANP demands funds for Swabi university

“The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government stopped the funds, which is unfair,” he said.

SWABI:
The Awami National Party (ANP) on Thursday opposed the stoppage of funds promised under tobacco cess for University of Swabi and demanded immediate release of the money. Speaking to journalists at a news conference, ANP district organising committee secretary information Advocate Muhammad Rasheed said former chief minister Amir Haider Hoti had allocated a specific amount for the uplift of the university. “The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government stopped the funds, which is unfair,” he said, adding the staff welfare association has also condemned the move and demanded the CM, speaker and governor take notice of the issue.
