PESHAWAR: The K-P police have blacklisted four more firms associated with a company that reportedly supplied substandard weapons and equipment to the police. These firms worked in collaboration with Majeed and Sons, stated a handout issued from the Central Police Office. It is stated that Shahyan Sarhad Enterprise, Almaaz Traders, Shahid Traders and Shaheer Traders were working in collaboration with Majeed and Sons which provided the provincial police with substandard arms and ammunition in 2008-10. The handout stated the companies were served with notices to explain their position but they did not respond despite the publication of the notices in newspapers.
