Remittance: Man accuses cousin of embezzlement
Says his cousin had embezzled Rs1 million from the money his father had sent them.

An additional district and sessions judge on Monday sought comments from the Model Town SHO in a petition seeking the registration of a case against the petitioner’s relatives accused of embezzling money that the petitioner’s father had sent them from abroad.
Hafiz Muhammad Asif said that his father had been living in Oman for some time. He said his father had sent them [his immediate family] money that he had deposited in his cousin Muhammad Younis’s account.
He said that his cousin had embezzled Rs1 million from the money his father had sent them.
Asif said that he had visited the relevant SHO but he had refused to register a case against Younis.
