The Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) director has ordered a case to be filed against 13 teachers and education department staff over fake recruitment orders and withdrawal of Rs3.8 million from the treasury.


Tariq Mehmood Kundan, the deputy district education officer informed the ACE Director Baber Aman Babar that the 13 people had faked appointment letters in connivance with education department staff. He said they had joined various schools as teachers and had withdrawn Rs3.8 million from the treasury.

The director had appointed Zahoor Ahmed Nadeem, the legal affairs deputy director, and Israr Hussain Kazim, the assistant director, as inquiry officers.

The inquiry officers discovered that Gulzar Ahmed, Ansa Avais, Najma Shaeen, Muhammad Asif, Shahnaz Aslam, Naheed Sultana, Farooq Muhammad, Muhammad Asif Iqbal and Aamer Mehtab had faked the appointment letters in connivance with the AEO Muhammad Arif Ravana and clerks, Muhammad Mehboob,Muhammad Ashfaq, Mian Muhammad Asif and Abdul Rehman.
