Security: Bomb explodes in water pipeline

The pipeline supplied water to a power station.

MULTAN: A bomb planted in a water pipeline exploded late on Sunday night. Officials said initially the source of the explosion could not be found. They said after searching for several hours, they found that a bomb had exploded in a 35-inch diameter water supply line connected to a thermal power station in Tiba Kareemabad. Khalid Alvi, an official of the thermal power station, said the pipeline supplied water to the power station.
