Karate kid Saadi Abbas strikes again
Celebrated Pakistani champion Saadi Abbas wins gold medal at the US Open Karate Championship.

Pakistan’s celebrated young karate champion Saadi Abbas put another feather in his cap by winning a gold medal at the US Open Karate Championship in the 67kg category event at Las Vegas, USA.
The competition was held from April 15-20 where Abbas went on to beat players of Guatemala, USA, Greece and Ecuador in the preliminary rounds and semi-finals.
He was involved in a tough final against home player J. Henry but Abbas managed to come out as the winner with a score of 4-2.
Abbas also won gold medals at the Commonwealth Karate Championships in 2010, which took place in South Africa and Montreal in 2013.
Apart from those feats, he also won a gold medal at the 11th Asian Karate Championship which was held in China.
To date he is the only karate player in South Asia who holds the honour of being a gold medalist in the Asian Karate Championship.
