3-member medical team to examine Musharraf at his Karachi residence
Yesterday, former president arrived in Karachi for the first time after his indictment.

For security reasons, instead of taking former president Pervez Musharraf to PNS Shifa as reported earlier, a three-member medical team will examine him at his residence in Karachi’s Zamzama neighbourhood, Express News reported on Sunday.
The sources report that a medical team will also check Musharraf’s complaint regarding his back pain.
On April 19, a chartered private jet took Musharraf to Karachi from Islamabad for the first time since his indictment.
Soon after landing in Karachi, Musharraf was driven away in a convoy of 18 armoured vehicles, including two mobile jammer vehicles and an ambulance, to his residence in Generals Colony off Zamzama in Defence Housing Authority locality.
Earlier, Musharraf was supposed to be treated at PNS Shifa Karachi.
Indicted for treason by a special court, the former military president has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Three major cases linked to his tenure in power include the murder case of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti. Currently, Musharraf is on bail.
