Easter: CDA staffers to be given salaries

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal on Friday directed the finance wing to make sure that Christian employees get their salaries before Easter. He issued the directives after holding a meeting with the CDA labour union. The CDA acknowledges Christian employees’ services for the city, he said, according a press release. He also directed the Capital Hospital administration to provide all medical facilities including medicines to the CDA employees on a priority basis. He assured the labour union representatives that a special counter for delivery of medicines to the CDA employees at the capital hospital will start functioning from Monday.
