IMF delegation arrives in Pakistan
Second delegation of IMF review team, led by Adnan Mazarei, arrives.
ISLAMABAD:
The second delegation of the International Monetary Fund’s review team has arrived in the country, led by Adnan Mazarei, head of the IMF review team for Pakistan.
Negotiations between the IMF and Pakistan, however, will start on Monday, according to finance ministry officials.
The technical team of the delegation had arrived earlier and was presented with data on Pakistan’s performance in the first quarter of the current fiscal year and their notes will form the basis of policy negotiations.
