Abetting murder: Proclamation withdrawal plea denied
MNA Sohail Shaukat Butt is accused of abetment in three murder cases.
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions court on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking submission of fresh surety bonds and withdrawal of a court proclamation issued against MNA Sohail Shaukat Butt accused of abetment in three murder cases. Previously, the court had cancelled the surety bonds and issued a proclamation against him. The court has not cancelled his bail. Gujjarpura, Batapur and Baghbanpura police have registered cases against the parliamentarian on charges of abetting the murder of Tariq Muavia, Mushtaq Ghurki and Baber Butt Lakhodayria’s father.
