Eligibility: ‘BA, BSc graduates eligible for LLB’

PU’s legal adviser says university had issued a notification declaring the degree holders eligible for LLB.

LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Monday declared holders of BA (hons) or BSc (hons) graduate eligible for admission in LLB courses. Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Abid Aziz made the ruling after hearing the petition of a student who said he had a four-year BSc (hons) degree from the Punjab University but had been declared ineligible for admission in the LLB. He said the policy was discriminatory. PU’s legal adviser said the university had issued a notification declaring the degree holders eligible for LLB.
